Bodyguard Training unlocks voluntary attack interception.

Use:

    protect <character>
    protect
    stop protecting

The first form designates the Character you are protecting. A bare command
shows your current assignment; stop protecting ends it. The assignment
persists until you end it, even across a server reload.

When you are physically present, capable of acting, and have a combat
opportunity available, you can throw yourself into an attack aimed at your
protectee. You become the attack's real target and spend that opportunity.
You cannot intercept repeatedly without another opportunity.

The attack then resolves normally against your own armor and anatomy. You can
be wounded, incapacitated, or killed. The Edge grants no flat defense bonus,
damage reduction, split damage, or immunity.

This combat technique is distinct from taking a Bodyguard Street Job.
